Copyright and Usage Conditions
The Italian Corpora (© Emanuela Cresti) correspond to the Italian Informal Section of the C-ORAL-ROM resource.
Raw acoustic data and non-annotated transcripts are distributed by ELDA (Paris) and published in encrypted form in E.Cresti & M. Moneglia (eds.) Benjamins Publishing Company (Amsterdam).
The use of the acoustic source delivered in IPIC-Italian for derivative works is allowed only under the conditions stated in the ELDA contract and requires licensing by ELDA or written consent by the copyright owners.
The Brazilian corpora (©Laboratório de Estudos Empíricos e Experimentais da Linguagem), part of the C-ORAL-BRASIL I resource, are published in non encrypted form in T. Raso & H. Mello (org.) C-ORAL-BRASIL, EDITORA UMFG.
The use of the acoustic source delivered in IPIC-Brazilian for derivative works is allowed in the citation limits.
The citation of transcripts and annotation derived from IPIC must always be complete and must be cited as "Annotation of information patterns according to Language into Act Theory in DB IPIC - first release, http://lablita.dit.unifi.it/app/dbipic/". Alternative annotations by the user must always be preceded by the original annotation.
ALTHOUGH THE ANNOTATION DELIVERED IN IPIC PASSED THROUGH A PROCESS OF REVISION WITH RESPECT TO THE SPECIFICATION, THE FIRST RELEASE STILL REQUIRES A VERIFICATION PROCESS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED A GOLDEN STANDARD FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE LACT THEORY FOR ANNOTATION OF LARGE SPOKEN CORPUS DATA.
THE ANNOTATION DELIVERED IN THIS FIRST RELEASE IS LACKING BOTH POS/LEMMA ANNOTATION AND SPEECH ACT TYPE ANNOTATION THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE NEXT RELEASE.
